So we have a few things lined up this month before I (Kina) head out to Japan for a few months.
Oct. 22 - We’ll be shooting the Harvest Market to Benefit the SF LGBT Center as well as offering special discounts and packages to attendees. Come visit our info table! There will be raffle prizes, foodies, and a slew of artists selling and showcasing their wares.
Oct. 23 - We’ll be covering the Munchkin Masquerade Parade 3-6p. Be sure to check back at the blog for cute pics of little ones running around in their costumes =D.
Oct. 25 - I’m flying to Japan! I’ll be based by Niigata Station, but will be traveling throughout the country. =D Holla if you’re adventuring out that side of the hemisphere!
TBA - Corporate Headshots for a local company =]
We also have our own separate projects going on while all this is happening.
Check out our blogs and see what’s up!
//RUBEN’S ROAD TO RETIREMENT
When you’ve dedicated 40+ years into your career, you deserve to have an amazing celebration.
I had the pleasure of working with Ruben before his retirement, and his humor and feisty personality is seriously reflected in his world famous guacamole.
We gathered at Scott’s to grub, laugh and tell stories… we had everyone write down a story, or “good luck” note.
Kina came and shot the event, then tagged me in to make the book. It is a simple black leather, 20 page (with linen type pages) that included tons of photos of everyone enjoying themselves along with the notes they wrote for him.
We got to deliver it to him recently, and it was a big “warm fuzzy” moment that he appreciated all the hard work that went into his event and his book that he will get to keep forever.
Good luck on the golf course Ruben! (And hope to see you soon, with guacamole in hand)
